Our Reviews
We purchased a new smart phone and our attempts to pair/connect it to our Traverse (purchased from Chevrolet of Canton) were unsuccessful. We met Stephen Hall who spent his time with us to successfully pair, connect and demo the various features that the vehicle now had to offer. His patience and communication qualities were outstanding. He was very knowledgeable in his presentation and easy to talk to. We left happy with the notion that we would return to Chevrolet of Canton for another purchase when needed. Good work, Stephen! Gail and Nelson
I recently had a car wreck and in less than 2 hours, mostly because we test drove vehicles, alesia kilgore had us buying my new car. I am beyond happy with the customer service and the entire experience from canton chevrolet. She had cars waiting on us to test whenever we arrived. She talked the best prices for our range to pay, and she went above and beyond to make sure we left completely satisfied. Thank you!!! I highly recommend working with alesia kilgore. Wonderful job!!!
Bought a pre owned truck from Stephen Hall today. It was the absolute best car buying experience I’ve had. Great dealership, highly recommend! David Miller
Set up an appointment for my new Silverado, there is a loud vibration under the truck bed near the exhaust and something is loose in the back seat. Took a video of the so rep could hear the exhaust sound, guy was in a bad mood. His response was nothing abnormal there, probably not worth tech looking at it. So I brought him out to the bay where the truck was sitting and started it up. His response was that's not normal. The issue is he was a complete jerk and attitude was off the chart. Felt like I was a burden and inconvenience to them. Asked to speak with the manager, wasn't much better basically telling me nothing wrong with the truck. At this point I made the decision that no way I would want these folks ever touching my vehicle. Drove to a different service center, they found that the spare tire heat shield was rubbing against the exhaust. Brand new vehicle, and I will not be taking to this place for and service work in the future. Completely unprofessional, uncaring, and worst customer experience I have ever had at a dealership.
Stephen Hall is absolutely the best salesman! Made our car buying experience so very easy!
Always good service and great a great place to business! I will recommend them to my friends and family
Very rude service manager. A couple questions on service and maintenance and made you fell like you were a burden as a customer? At one point stated “ take it or leave it, that’s the option”. Well I am leaving? As well as our new vehicle purchase. Do not recommend this dealership
I was interested in one truck they had on the lot, it was the only one of its trim level. I texted back and forth with the sales manager Freddy after doing an inquiry on the truck via their website. He sent me a quote for my out the door price and we went and checked out the truck the same day. The next day I contacted the sales guy we worked with as I intended on doing the deal that had been worked out. I was then told some of the rebates, etc that Freddy had sent me 24 hours ago were wrong/not applicable to the truck I wanted and that the price would be roughly $5,000 more than the quote. I obviously did not do business with this dealer. They tried to claim the quote I got was for a lower trim level truck even though all the info on the quote was for the only truck I was ever interested in. Either they’re incompetent here or they’re doing a bait and switch with the pricing just trying to get people in the door.
One star rating too high for this dealership. Worked with salesman over the phone and text, settled on a price. Was told two other individuals had looked at it, but since we were first we had first choice. Stated we wanted to purchase and submitted the pre-approval online. Dealership chose to sell while we were waiting for them to run our paperwork. Refused to accept deposit. Very poor management. Manager was demeaning and sarcastic. Bottom line, they will sell a car out from under you no matter what verbal understanding you might have with them. Angering to find out a man's word means nothing.
Looking for a car or truck you need to look somewhere else you'll be glad you did.
They tear up cars then want answer the phone dont go there I went for oil change 2020 chevy trak now my radiator is damaged they want even return my call Jimmy got mad about me complaining before so I feel like this was done purposely
Bought a used F-150, had issues a day later, sunroof broke, radio would not work, cv joints needed to be replaced. Contacted the sales department to help fix some of the problems, no help at all there. Place is very dishonest, had to end up paying them $2k to take the car back a week later. Please avoid this place at all costs, their only interest is selling cars that obviously have issues and not wanting to do anything to resolve the problem. I am not one to complain or write reviews, but this place is bad news. Plenty of other reputable dealers to choose from
Antwon went above and beyond I was sad my trax sold before we got there but he got us a new one for a great deal will def shop with Antwon again if needed he was so fun
The easiest car buying experience we’ve ever had From the phone call with Brandon to make sure the car was available to the salesman Lamar and Chris in finance everything was perfect We drove 3 hours from Tennessee to get there and would do it all over again. Our daughter loves her new 2023 trailblazer
Service department lies, has my truck for a 7 week period and “fixed” problem, it’s not fixed correctly and then try to charge for something else, called service manager to inform and just get a song and dance about how he has staffing issues, I also let GM corporate know and they have only escalated the issue to no avail, don’t trust this dealership for service
DO NOT do business with Chevrolet of Canton! We just bought a truck from them and noticed the tires sounded funny during the test drive. The salesman said they were fine, they were just new and the tread needed to ware in. But said he will make sure the truck is inspected before we sign. The tires were signed off on as “excellent” on our paperwork. We signed and took the truck home. The next day the tires were still not feeling right so we took it to our Machanic. He said that they were all torn on the insides and needed an alignment. We brought it back to Chevy of Canton. Their service manager looked at the tuck and agreed that we needed all new tires. We spoke with our salesman and the manager. They kept giving us a hard time and arguing with us that if they were to put new tires on then they should have charged us more for the truck. They said all they can do is replace two of the tires. We said we wanted all four done and the manager said oh well, I can’t do that. We then explained that our family (who referred us) has spent over $300,000 in the last two years there on work trucks and if they didn’t want to replace all four tires then our family explained to us that they will not bring their business there anymore. The manager replied, “I don’t care if they come back or not. I’m only replacing two tires.” 😳 VERY unprofessional! Looks like Bill Holt Chevy just got some new clients!
Service department damaged a part on my car and agred to replace it. Now the run-around. They won't return phone calls and hope, I guess, I will go away.
Note: this is the same business as “Chevrolet of Canton”. This shop performed standard 60k maintenance on my 2019 Suburban (01/31/2022) which ultimately led to need for transmission replacement. Two weeks after maintenance, transmission belt snapped and water pump locked up on highway. Had to have the car serviced in South Carolina. A few more weeks, grinding and banging coming from transmission. Brought in to different shop, no visible damage but somehow, less than 2qts of transmission fluid. Service manager (other Chevrolet shop) said indicative of internal damage. Two weeks later, car was barely drivable, couldn’t shift gears, rumbling, revving too high, tires slipping on turns/throttle. We had to trade in the car, which I lost $6k in value due to all the damages that followed my 60k service, putting me upside-down on the vehicle which I was previously positive. We maintain our vehicle diligently. Additionally, $3,737.64 out of pocket for shop and rental costs. They performed service on my transmission, differentials, and brakes, and decided not to test drive the vehicle. Unlike all of the other RO’s I received, this shop did not note the name of the techs who performed service. After the 3rd time bringing the car into (other) Chevrolet shops, we discovered that the transmission needed replacement. It is unacceptable and negligent on the part of their service department for this to happen immediately after taking it in for a 60k maintenance and being told that the vehicle was fully inspected and serviced and had no issues.

Stay away from the service department. They destroyed my car. Took my 2019 Suburban in for it’s 60k maintenance on 1/31 because I am well aware my powertrain warranty is over so I should probably keep it well maintained to avoid having issues. After I got my vehicle back, it drove fine on the way home, about a 15 minute drive. The following weekend I drove the car to Augusta after it had only been sitting in my driveway for about a week and a half, ran to the grocery store with it a couple times which is only a 5 min drive down the street. Halfway during my trip to Augusta I noticed a horrible squealing, like a belt issue while I was driving about 70 mph on the interstate. Not normal, after I just had a major service done. I was going to take it back to Chevy of Canton after I got back home from my Augusta trip, but guess what?! I didn’t even make it back. 45 mins into the drive while I was on my way home I got an overheat notification which then led me to get my car towed to a Chevy dealership who then told me that my water pump locked up due to belt failure. Hmm.. if I had an issue with my belt shouldn’t have Chevrolet of Canton notify me that I needed it replaced? Anywho, I dropped more money on getting the water pump and belt replaced. Fast forward to the beginning of April, my transmission started skipping. I went and took it to another Chevy dealership who then told me I had UNDER TWO QUARTS of transmission fluid and no visible leaks. I paid for another transmission service at that other Chevy dealership who then told me that there may be internal damage being that I drove around this whole time with barely any transmission fluid. Everything checked out fine, no codes, they released the car back to me. After driving it around for another week, it started skipping even worse. It is now currently back at the other Chevy dealer who previously serviced my transmission and said I would need to get a brand new transmission. And I’m over here like xxx?! I paid $1700 for preventative maintenance to only have to drop MORE money on getting repairs? Everything that the service department at Chevrolet of Canton touched has issues now. I’m out of pocket thousands of dollars and my Suburban is not drivable.Transmissions are on national back order and it could take MONTHS for all the parts to come in. Not to mention that it will cost me about $5700 plus tax to get it done. I’ve filed complaints with GM and they can’t really do much for me. Oh yeah, not to mention. They didn’t even report any of the maintenance I got done there. Not a single oil change, not even the 60k. So now I don’t have proof that my vehicle is well maintained. I never skip oil changes and tire rotations, I had them do my front brakes and an alignment as well. Luckily I saved all my RO tickets from their service department which apparently are really vague. Oh and another thing. They touched everything under the hood and DID NOT test drive it. The mileage in and out are the same. My advice, take it to a different Chevy dealership if you choose to get maintenance done by a Chevy shop.
My son bought a truck asked for extended warranty, they forgot … drove truck less than 200 miles …had it for 2 weeks, bad lifters now they want $1200 to fix it . no customer service!!!
I heard about Mark Smith at Chevrolet of Canton, (from my waitress) so I called him and met him the next day. Best, laid back car buying experience I’ve ever had. No hassle, no BS. Just the nicest guy out there wanting to help. Thanks Mark for everything!! See you next time!!
Mark Smith did a great job. If he had not called me about my online trade in value, I would have never ended coming to Canton and buying a new Colorado. Thanks
First time customer to the service department. Arrived wed mid day. No one greeted me, there was one lady in service who seemed extremely overwhelmed and I was 3rd in line. After 20 m she did take my keys and number and said I could leave and she would call me. 1 hour later she called and got my name and address and indicated someone would look at my 2018 Camaro with engine light on. Friday at 2 pm I called and she said. I one had looked at the car and I said and no call to me for any update? She was speechless and as such I said nevermide I will come get the car and take it to Days Chevy where I bought the car and I usually go. She said ok and did not even try to recover me as a new customer. Moved to Woodstock and guess I will continue to give days Chevy my business and buy all my new cars from them. The dealership needs help!
I bought a used GMC Denali on Aug 29. I worked with Cean. While I am happy with the vehicle, and my purchase, I am extremely disappointed with the lack of service after the sale. Cean promised me touch up paint for a few minor scratches I noticed the day I bought the truck. I have followed up with him 4 different times. The first two times he told he he would check on it, but never followed up with me. The last 2 times he didn’t even take the time to acknowledge my message, much less respond. I feel like he was after the sale and nothing else. I am typically a repeat customer, but after my first experience, I will not be back to Chevrolet of Canton. Price isn’t everything!!
